This laser installation was built as a part of my research practices at the National Institute of Laser Enhanced Science at Cairo University. I built a manual Laser setup that moulded laser beams into free abstract forms. The custom-made setup was equipped with wireless sensors that can control the setup’s mirrors and lenses by monitoring my bodily movement as the performer during my navigation through the institute building and its surroundings. The designed processes employed the coherent light to reflect the relation between the bodily concealed energy and the spatial energy of the host environment architecture. The red point refers to the position of my own body inside the building, and its faded contour indicates my hyperactivity that affected the form of the laser beam so that the resulted form was sustainably changed, grew or deformed according to my move.
